Thai feast

Today was a busy day in our household. Lots of cleaning involved! All of the Christmas decorations are put away until next year :(

Breakfast

Today I made some yummy coffee with my moms 20+ year old percolator. It turned out really flavorful using 'Chock full 'o nuts' grounds. I put a little fat free French vanilla (fffv) creamer in it.

I also had a bagel sandwich with low fat havarti cheese, Canadian bacon, spinach, and Dijon mustard. It was tasty.









Dinner
dinner tonight was sort of a production! My mom and I like to experiment with different cuisines and to tonight was Thai !

First course was Thai coconut chicken soup.

Followed by chicken satay with peanut sauce,

Oh, and we also had Oolong tea!


It was very interesting but tasted really good. The shrimp and the soup were the family favorites.
